The Common MSCP, Hatfield

Facade

Multi-storey car park, Hatfield, England

Architects: Bright Space Architects

The town of Hatfield holds a prominent place within British aviation and aerospace history, once home to British Aerospace and the Airfix factory, which produced scale plastic model kits. When a shopping centre and multi-storey car park were built on the former site, it seemed only fitting to draw inspiration from this heritage. RMIG Solutions manufactured and supplied 174 perforated sheets for the project. Using RMIG ImagePerf, graphics and images of various Airfix model components were reproduced onto the metal panels, creating an eye-catching facade that pays tribute to the town's rich history.
